Osservazioni

A marble fragment from a relief of a healing miracle, a cripple shown with his crutches in the foreground, while in the background stand two figures of disciples or on-lookers, with expressions of wonder, one bearded and with his hands crossed in front of him, the other of more youthful type with long hair, the whole carved in almost full relief, 16 ½ in., French, 14th Century
The slightly weathered appearance of the relief is due to its having been used as part of a rockery, from which it was rescued by the present owner.
